Meet the Purple Ladies!

All staff are Early Years qualified and are First Aid trained.

The Manager has Safeguarding group 4 and other staff have Safeguarding group 3.

Emma Johnson

Manager

Emma is the Preschool Manager and DSL at Heydays and is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, curious and ready to learn. She has a strong interest in outdoor learning, child development and building meaningful relationships with families.

Emma is committed to developing a curriculum that supports confidence, belonging and a love of learning in the early years.

Lynn Vine

Deputy Manager
 

Lynn is Deputy Manager and Deputy DSL at Heydays Preschool. She supports the smooth day-to-day running of the setting and is committed to helping children feel safe, secure and valued. Lynn brings warmth and experience to her role and enjoys supporting children through play, outdoor experiences and caring relationships. She values strong links with families and the wider community, and outside of preschool leads the Four Marks Beaver Scout Colony, reflecting her ongoing commitment to supporting children within the local community.

Kerri Oliver

SENCo

Kerri is a Senior Practitioner and SENCO at Heydays Preschool. She brings warmth, care and understanding to her role and is passionate about supporting children as individuals.

Kerri works closely with children, families and colleagues to help create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported to make progress in their own way. As SENCO, she has a particular focus on recognising and responding to children’s individual needs, helping to ensure that all children are able to thrive within the setting. Outside of work, Kerri is a busy mum of three girls and enjoys spending time with her family

Faith Vine

Practitioner

Faith is a Level 3 Practitioner at Heydays Preschool. She brings a positive and caring approach to her work and enjoys helping children build confidence through play, exploration and supportive relationships. Faith values creating an environment where children feel encouraged, included and able to thrive. Outside of preschool, she teaches children to swim and is actively involved in the local Scout community, supporting Beavers and Explorers while also working towards her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Claudia Kingshott

Practitioner

Claudia is a Level 2 Practitioner at Heydays Preschool. She brings warmth and enthusiasm to her role and enjoys supporting children as they play, explore and grow in confidence. Claudia values creating a happy, nurturing environment where children feel secure and able to enjoy the everyday experiences that help them learn. Outside of Heydays, she enjoys spending time with her children, baking, dog walks, beach days and camping

Sheila Crane

Bank Staff

Sheila is a valued member of the bank staff team at Heydays Preschool and brings over twenty years of experience in working with young children. She is passionate about helping children learn through play and enjoys creating fun, engaging experiences through music, games and exploration of the natural world. Sheila values the joy and energy that children bring and feels privileged to support them as they grow, learn and develop.
